This lecture looks at the process and programme of development for the next Revision to EN1992-1-1. It will describe the main changes that can be expected in the current design provisions and will shed light on the new design information contained within Annexes to the new code. This includes rules on assessment of concrete structures, design of fibre reinforced concrete and the use of steel fibre reinforced polymers.

He has a particular interest and expertise in the design of concrete structures particularly those adopting post-tensioning.
